WP.6: Project Management and Support

This part deals with the administrative part of the project. An administrative person will be in charge of the support all along the project. Auditing and quality control are also integral parts of this workpackage. The activities in this workpackage are organized as follows:

1- Monthly report will be produced showing all the activities carried out and the corresponding working days or staff costs.

2- At the end of every workpackage (dates indicated in the workpackages) a report is produced showing how activities have been organized throughout this project. A survey and benchmark will be also run to measure the quality of the execution of the workpackage.

3- Although a kickoff meeting is expected at the begining of the project, a pre-launching meeting is expected to be held in France to coordinate all the management aspects as well as the different activities to be carried out within the project.

4- As part of the final project meeting a part will be allocated to present the administrative aspects related to the project execution

5- An auditing will be run at the end of the project.

6- Find sustainability solutions to continue the effort beyond the end of the project. Although sustainability is assured normally by the targeted Lebanese Agency, however, alternative solutions have to be envisaged in case the Agency would not have been created by the end of the project.

Management structure is in two levels: Workpackage level and Project level. The workpackage level lead partner is responsible for the workpackage and reports to the project management team formed of the applicant, the DGHE and the CIEP.

If a benchmark of a workpackage or the workpackage leader express a delay in the execution a management meeting is held (using Internet or telephone conference) and it may be decided to extend the workpackage and redistribute the resources on a case by case situation. If no solution could be found the AECEA will be informed.
